Did you forget about me...

Cuz I forgot about this Blog!!! Well not really...just have been super lazy and not wanting to write. Don't even know WHERE to start!!!! Guess I can start with Fourth of July...

We got to go out with our friends to THEIR friends house out in the middle of no where. It was very nice! Had a lot of really cool things. They had food, drinks, dessert, and entertainment (especially for kids). The food was good. Brisket and like every type of salad you can think of. We ended up leaving and making it back to abilene to watch just the "pre-show" fireworks. It was super late already and Grace didn't really know the difference.

Here is a big news flash...I have started WORKING OUT!!! We got a membership to the YMCA. I have started doing the couch to 5K thing. Just finished my first week today!!! I stepped on the scale today and have gained weight. is this normal?!?!?!

Johns parents came in town this week. Needless to say, we had Taco Casa for lunch 2 days in a row haha. Friday night I had a MOPS thing so I ate dinner there which was good. Some...casserole thing. haha not sure exactly what. Then Saturday night we had left overs from thursday night. Sunday lunch we went to Bonzai with our friends which was delicious of course. I just ate a Salmon/Acocado roll. I could live off that!!! That night we had our Small group over to our house. Kids swaim while adults did the lesson/video. Then ordered pizza and ate here!! It was fun...but our house got pretty toasty!

Monday I ended up working at Taco Casa through lunch (so HAD it for lunch too) Which actually was a lot of fun because I got to do the Register!

Dinner monday night we went to Red Robin. -not in an elaborate mood haha

Anyway- it was time to update. Even though it was pretty..LAME! Thats ok though. Maybe something funny will happen in the next couple days I can blog about ;-)

  1. On the gaining weight thing -- that may be normal. I work out and use an exerspy (this thing that tracks the amount of calories I burn so I know how many calories I can eat), and there are some weeks I gain weight when I know I should have lost it. I think it might be muscles. I asked a trainer at my gym if that's what it is, and she said yes. Muscle gain tempers though, so likely the next week or a few days later, the weight will go down.
